The time it takes is dependent on size of stove and its position and the flu set up. Wood Cookers advises all purchases of our stoves to get a fully licensed plumber or installer to complete this task to be compliant, to all state and fedral laws.

J.A Roby Wood Cooking stoves are tested for emissions  compliance and shielding properties to strict Canadian and US EPA standards. The reason for this that due to the extreme cold temperatures in the north of both countries. Many units sold in Canada and the US have to be suitable for mobile home use. So they are built and tested by Intertek for compliance to Canadian and US standards.

J.A Roby stoves are tested to stringent emissions standards for burn time and particle emissions to (Canadian Standards).In wood cooking stoves Australia are exempt emissions testing due to the fact that they are used for cooking purpose. However they are still built to low emissions standard and there is continual research and testing to improve their products.
